We do most of our work virtually, with emails and conference calls, and we have social and professional gatherings throughout the year for members to get to know one another better, hear from inspiring women and learn interesting things together.
We gather in the company of like-minded women. We don’t raise money—all events are breakeven. We are committed to educating women about what we have, what we need and what we must do in order to give grants that create the greatest impact. At our gatherings, we do whatever we can to help raise the consciousness of women. We have done so through hosting well-known female speakers such as Maya Angelou, Gloria Steinem, Anna Quindlen, Erin Brockovich, Kate White, Amy Dickinson, Mavis Leno, Eve Ensler and Chris Madden.
