Women have traditionally come together to accomplish their individual, family, and community work in the company and support of other women. In recent years, women have joined together in “circles” to share their love of reading, to invest together, to parent their children together or volunteer to better their community.

Women United in Philanthropy is a giving circle. We come together to help other women in our community by joining our efforts in order to have greater impact. In working together to better the lives of other women, we also benefit individually and collectively from each other.

Since we began in 2005, more than 400 circles like ours have developed across the country. We are based in Bergen County, New Jersey with members of all ages from throughout the Tri-State area who want to:

• Invest charitably and collectively to help local women.
• Build a membership community of like-hearted women.
• Raise each other’s consciousness and ability to use our individual and collective economic power for personal and social good.
