| Women United in Philanthropy is currently seeking applications for funding for this year's 2009 grant cycle.
Organizations interested in applying for these funds are asked to attend a mandatory training and technical assistance workshop on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, 3:30 - 5PM at Bergen County's United Way, 6 Forest Avenue in Paramus.
The purpose of this session is to discuss the Request for Proposal, the funding priorities of the giving circle, and the amount of funding potentially available for distribution. Completed applications will be due at the Women United office July 15, 2009.
Time will be available from during the workshop for applicants to discuss their particular proposal ideas with members of our grant committee. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please come prepared with a 5-minute-or-less "elevator speech" for your proposal. Your "speech" should:
Describe your organization's business.
Present your RFP idea.
Estimate the total cost of the proposed project and your request to WUIP;
