Come see a Benefit Production of Eve Ensler’s THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES this Saturday, March 14 at 8PM at Bergen Academies to benefit Shelter our Sisters.
This production of The Vagina Monologues stars Bergen County women who have donated their time and talent to bring the Obie Award-winning, off-Broadway episodic play written by Eve Ensler to benefit Shelter our Sisters, Bergen’s only shelter and support services for victims of domestic violence. Ensler originally starred in the production; when she left the play it was recast with three celebrity monologists. The production has been staged internationally, and a television version featuring Ensler was produced by cable TV channel HBO. In 1998, Ensler launched V-Day, a global non profit that has raised over $50 million for women's anti-violence groups through benefits of The Vagina Monologues
