Volunteer Center sponsors  the "All Wrapped Up" holiday program !

 
Every fall The Volunteer Center enlists from nonprofit partners profiles of their families and individuals who are in need; they provide "wish lists" for these people.  We then enlist volunteer donors from the community who are willing to fulfill the wishes of those in need.  So far this year we have requests to assist 773 families of all sizes as well as 795 individuals (seniors, teens, people with disabilities, etc.).
 
Those who'd like to participate can go to www.bergenvolunteers.org and click on "holiday programs" on the left menu.  You can fill in a form online and send it to us, and we will match you with a family of the size they wish or with an individual.  Last year this program generated more than $400,000 in holiday gifts and gift cards for people in need right here in our community.  It's a wonderful way to spread some cheer to those whose holidays may be bleak without this kind of generous assistance.
